Instructor in this position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in music/music education, as well as applied lessons in woodwind instruments commensurate with background and experience.

Applicants for the position are required to have a terminal degree in music or music education, or area academic or performance specialty. Applicants who are currently, or are nearing ABD status will be considered. Backgrounds in flute, clarinet, or saxophone as a primary or secondary emphasis is preferred. Knowledge of computers and computer technology is highly desirable.  

Illustrative Examples of Work:

Faculty member will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the music and music education curriculums. Creative endeavors, i.e. recitals, participation in performance ensembles, or other scholarly activities are strongly encouraged. Perform other job-related duties as required.
