The Section of Infectious Disease strives to excel in the care of patients' infectious diseases with a focus on treatment, education, and research advancement.  The Section of Infectious Disease provides services to citizens of the Central Savannah River Area and across the state through the Infectious Disease clinic.

Minimum Requirements

MD degree and must be board certified/board eligible in Infectious Disease

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to achieve high levels of productivity
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel and other computer software/databases


  • Shift:Days/M-F
  • Pay Grade: 10 
  • Salary: $12.62/hr - $14.00/hr

Salary and rank is commensurate with experience and includes an incentive plan that rewards clinical productivity and research funding success.  Competitive start-up packages are available based on the skills of the candidate.
