Nature of Work: The Dual Enrollment Coordinator provides oversight and leadership to the development, implementation, and facilitation of supporting infrastructure and services to the university's dual enrollment populations and participating institutions. The Coordinator will be responsible for the university's infrastructure and support to dual enrolled students and work closely with identified professionals within appropriate 9-12 grade level institutions to develop and facilitate dual enrollment agreements. The Coordinator will facilitate programs to ensure that this student population is informed of university policies and procedures, can navigate university systems including Banner Web and GaView, and are aware of student support services and activities available to them as ASU students. In addition to providing excellent support to on-campus dual enrolled populations, the Coordinator will work closely with the distance learning department to ensure distance learning dual enrolled students, both online and at off-site locations, remain supported, informed, and connected to the university. The Coordinator will, in collaboration with Institutional Effectiveness, gather and analyze data to determine the effectiveness of dual enrollment strategies and adjust as needed to enhance the retention and progression of this student group. The Coordinator must have the ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders, possess a passion for student success and development, be well organized, an effective communicator, and possess the ability to successfully implement processes and strategies in promotion of the university's student success mission.  
Training and Experience: -Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university required; Master's degree preferred. 
-Teaching experience in first year experience courses preferred. 
-Minimum of three years' experience working within higher education service student populations. 
-Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with key stakeholders (internal and external) to foster the spirit of engagement. 
-Demonstrated ability to develop effective programs and services. 
-Excellent communication skills. 
-Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
-Must be student-centric and customer service oriented.

Illustrative Examples of Work: Duties include, but are not limited to: 
-Develop and facilitate the implementation of strategies and processes to proactively engage 9-12 grade level institutions in dual enrollment programs with the university. 
-Develop, implement, and assess processes and strategies to support, at all levels, dual enrolled students to promote student satisfaction, retention, and progression. 
-Review university processes and policies for potential challenges/barriers to dual enrolled students and work with the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success to implement change as required. 
-Collaborate with the designated dual enrollment success coach to facilitate the advising and registration of all dual enrolled students. 
-Remain current on federal and state requirements for dual enrolled students and ensure university compliance. 
-In conjunction with the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success, facilitate the effective recruitment, selection, development, and evaluation of staff, including student-workers, as appropriate to support the Dual Enrollment program. 
-Develop and promote a student-centric culture that is focused on collaboration, contribution excellent customer service, and a passion for student success. 
-Represent the university at national and state level dual enrollment meetings and conferences and serve as the university's Board of Regents Dual Enrollment contact. 
-Remain informed of university academic support policies and processes and identify and work collaboratively to change those that present potential barriers/challenges to student success. 
-Serve as the direct supervisor for Dual Enrollment personnel, including student-workers. 
-Perform other job-related duties as required.
