Present didactic and clinical education information to students, faculty and peers in multiple venues as it pertains to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Supervise OMFS residents and undergraduate students’ dental health care delivery.

Evaluate OMFS residents and undergraduate students’ patient clinical and education encounters.

Maintain hospital credentials for AU Health, Children’s Hospital of Georgia, Georgia Correctional Healthcare and Charlie Norwood Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Treat outpatients and inpatients.  Complete patient records in a timely fashion.

Maintain all required certifications, licenses and permits.

Minimum Requirements

Applicant must have an US DDS/DMD degree (or foreign equivalent) with advance training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  Individual must be an American board eligible Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with the knowledge and capabilities to provide a comprehensive scope of OMFS diagnostic problems and procedures.

Position requires US State Dental/Medical license, OMFS Certification, Anesthesia Permit, DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS.
