Description:  MAAPS (Monitoring Advising Analytics to Promote Success) is a multi-institutional project from the eleven-member University Innovation Alliance dedicated to validating the effectiveness of proactive advisement in increasing retention, progression and graduation rates for low-income and other high-need students. The goal of this grant is to improve student success.
We require a person with high level administrative skills to manage multiple budgets, work with sub-contract requirements (federal reporting), data analysis as well as the ability to plan conferences and trainings for collaborators across the United States.

Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 years of supervisory/management experience; or a combination of education and experience; or a Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications: Preference may be given to those who possess the following:

  • Ph.D. or A.B.D. candidates
  • At least three years of full-time work experience (3-8 years preferred)
  • Earned track record of success with grant and budget management (to include sub-contracts, data analysis and reporting, travel, conference and meeting planning)
  • Experience with and knowledge of higher education issues, especially those surrounding the success and attrition of college students
  • Customarily think outside the box and rapidly iterate to strategically solve problems
