Working Title Access to Success Specialist – Title III
Job Summary

Savannah State University seeks qualified applicants for Access to Success Specialist. This position provides support to the Access to Success program, students, director and advisors. Assists with assessment and evaluation of the A2S program and supports the director in report and grant writing. This position maintains program records and assists the director in building and unit operations. Acts as assistant to the director, manages schedule and calendar; supervises computer lab and building. Work includes nights and weekends during the academic terms. May be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically delineated in this description. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. Good communication, writing and organizational skills and computer experience in MS Word and Excel. Ability to work under stress and to meet required standards of performance. Must be able to handle confidential matters and have knowledge of office machinery and equipment, and work flexible hours, nights and weekends as required. Background and/or credit check may be required.
