This faculty position will involve a clinical care commitment of at least 90%.  The position will provide psychiatric services to adults In an Emergency Department setting and at Augusta State Medical Prison in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The position will share after hours and weekend on-call responsibilities with other department general psychiatry faculty members.  Weekend on-call duty will involve conducting rounds at the Augusta University Medical Center adult and geriatric psychiatric inpatient units.  Teaching, including didactics, resident supervision and service activities such as committee assignments will occupy 10% of the position’s time.

Minimum Requirements

MD, DO or MBBS degree, a Georgia physician license and board eligibility are required.

Board certification is preferred.
