Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neuroscience Laboratory


A post-doctoral position is available at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in the laboratory of Dr. Machelle Pardue which focuses on detection and treatment of retinal disease. The lab evaluates retinal and brain function and structure using a number of imaging, electrophysiological, behavioral, molecular, and immunohistochemical techniques in rodent models of retinal disease. The position will provide scientific resources and salary support for two years.

Major Responsibilities:

Successful candidates should have:

  1. Ph.D. training in neuroscience, vision research, biomedical engineering or a related field
  2. A productive publication record
  3. One year of knowledge in molecular techniques
  4. An interest in basic and translational vision research

The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University was created jointly by the Emory University School of Medicine and the Georgia Tech College of Engineering.
