The College of Allied Health Sciences at the Georgia Regents University (GRU) invites applications for an Occupational Therapy faculty member (1.0 FTE) with doctoral degree in occupational therapy or related health professioanl field.  There is one academic appointment (Tenure Track and non-Tenure Track) available in the Department of Occupational Therapy.  Established or developing research agenda preferred.  Track record in NIH funded research is an advantage. Start-up package for funded researchers is available.  GRU’s Occupational Therapy Program offers a graduate level professional degree.  Faculty practice and research partnerships are possible within the medical university campus.  Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Teaching assignments include course design, administration and instruction, mentoring and supervision of graduate students on research projects.  Involvement in research and scholarly activities in the Department of Occupational Therapy, in the CAHS, and in the university.  Composing and collaborating on research and scholarly articles for the purpose of publication and presentation at conferences and symposiums. Participation in continuing education studies for the purpose of increasing research skill or research credentials. Involvement in committees and task groups at Department, College and University - wide levels.  Clinical participation in the CAHS Faculty Practice Plan.

The College

The Community

Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
