The Department of Radiology at the Georgia Regents University, GRU, Georgia's premier Health Sciences University, is recruiting for a full time Mammography Radiologist. The candidate should be board certified in Radiology and prefer the individual to be fellowship trained in Mammography. Responsibilities will include a combination of patient care and teaching of medical students and residents. Position offers a strong salary line and excellent fringe benefits package. Academic rank is commensurate with training and experience. The department is equipped with two Hologic Tomosynthesis mammography systems, one stereotactic biopsy room, one Hologic DEXA, three CT scanners (Two 256, One 128), three MRI scanners (Two 3 Tesla and one 1.5 Tesla MRI), GE Ultrasound equipment and the Nuclear Medicine section has been completely renovated with state of the art equipment to include SPECT/CT and PET/CT.

GRU ranks in the top ten public medical schools in basic science grant revenue per faculty member and is located in historic, Augusta, Georgia, a mid-sized city with diverse recreational and lifestyle opportunities. A newly established cancer center has plans for growth in basic, translational, and clinical cancer research. The campus offers excellent core facilities including cell and small animal imaging.
