A twelve-month, non-tenure track, part-time position (29.6 hours/week) in the Radiation Therapy Program, Department of Medical Laboratory, Imaging, & Radiologic Sciences, College of Allied Health Sciences.  Primary position responsibilities are the development and delivery of lecture and laboratory undergraduate courses, to include core courses, coordinating and supervising clinical internships, evaluation of students in didactic and clinical internship courses, planning curricula, oversight of student research projects, assisting with recruitment, admissions, and advisement processes for the Radiation Therapy program; assisting the program director with program-related assessment and administrative tasks, and providing service (public, professional and institutional) and scholarly activity in accordance with effort allocation.

Applicants must hold current and unencumbered certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT) and have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred (active pursuit to complete a Master’s Degree is expected).  Requirements are a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Radiation Therapy.  A minimum of 2 years of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited Radiation Therapy program is preferred.  Computer literacy is required.  Experience with web-based learning platforms (e.g., D2L) and distance learning platforms is expected.  Applicants must have demonstrated interpersonal, technical, and educational skills for organization and delivery of professional discipline content, curriculum, implementation, instruction, counseling, and evaluation.
