The Institute of Health Administration, Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University invites applications for one or more positions with anticipated hiring for Fall 2018. The position is tenure track; rank is open, but we expect to hire at the level of full or associate professor.  


Qualified candidates will have an earned doctorate in Business Administration, Public Health Management, or a closely related field from an accredited University. Candidates should have a significant scholarly research record demonstrated through publications in leading journals and expertise providing the ability to play a leadership role in advancing emerging college and university multidisciplinary research initiatives within a rapidly changing health sector.   This includes an interest and ability to lead a strong research agenda, contribute to academic program development, and to collaborate with partners across the College and University in areas such as health information technology, health sector leadership, and health regulation and policy, among others.  Preference may be given to candidates with a demonstrated ability to attract external grant funding.  The successful candidate will teach, primarily at the graduate level, conduct independent and collaborative research leading to publication in leading health services research journals, and contribute to service activities in IHA, RCB, GSU, and the profession.
