The purpose of the Applicant Clearinghouse (ACH) is to enhance equal employment opportunities in support of the recruitment programs of the thirty-one institutions of higher education within the University System of Georgia (USG).
Each institution within the University System conducts its own process of recruitment and employment but must normally refer to the ACH for potential applicants for those regular faculty and administrative position vacancies requiring Regents’ appointment reporting.
After vacant positions have been posted to the ACH’s website, representatives of the institution in which the vacant position is located may search the registrant files of the ACH for potential applicants. The procedure is accomplished by the cross matching of degree and discipline of the registrant’s file to that of the vacant position.
Just as institutions may search for potential applicants, registrants may also search the ACH database for vacant positions in which their degree(s) and discipline(s) cross match with that of vacant positions.
Individuals interested in academic or administrative positions in the University System may register with the ACH by completion of the “Online Registration Form” located at the top of this page. Registrants must change their password every six months to remain active in the system, and may update their information or close their account at any time. A valid e-mail account is required for registration.
The data from the registrant will only be used by representatives of the thirty-one institutions of the USG for the purpose of obtaining potential applicants for their vacant positions. Submission of data by ACH registrants does not constitute application for a position but may result in recruiting contacts from any institution within the System.
There is no fee charged for the services of the ACH.
