General Summary:

The University of North Georgia invites applications for a ten-month, full-time, non – tenure-track faculty position in the department of Biology.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include teaching both non–majors and majors introductory biology and possibly also microbiology for allied health sciences. Normal teaching load is 16 credit hours per semester.   

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:

  • M.S. or Ph.D. at the time of hire in biology or a related discipline.
  • Teaching experience, particularly in the field of microbiology, at the college level is preferred.   
  • Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching microbiology for allied health sciences.
