Recruitment and Retention Coordinator

This position coordinates student recruitment and retention functions for the college.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates recruitment and retention activities. (50%)
    • Develops and implements recruitment and retention strategies.
    • Promotes online programs through distribution of promotional materials and/or advertising efforts.
  • Provides academic advising support to students. (20%)
    • Counsels students regarding educational issues such as course and program selection, class scheduling, school adjustment, and career planning.
    • Confers with Director of Online Learning to resolve student academic and/or behavioral problems.
  • Maintains records and prepares reports. (20%)
    • Maintains accurate and complete student records.
    • Completes annual reports of student enrollment, program effectiveness, and recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Performs a variety of related duties. (10%)

Required Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field required.
  • More than one year of related experience preferred.
