Primary Function of Organizational Unit

The primary function of the Web Development Group is to create, manage and maintain web based resources for Georgia College.

Primary Purpose of Position

Full Stack Development including but not limited to: Creating web based services, templates and frameworks; monitoring web service availability, functionality and usage; and managing web services life cycle.

Minimum Requirements
Proposed Minimum Experience/Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent experience.

Department Required Skills

Experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, RUBY, PYTHON, Apache Web Server, IIS Web Server and server operating systems including Linux and Windows Server are required. Experience with Content Management systems like Drupal and WordPress.

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

Two to three years experience with Drupal, MySQL and other LAMP components.
