Job Description: 

The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Georgia Regents University is seeking applicants from all academic ranks to fill a position as an educator to advance the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) UME mission within the department and as part of interdisciplinary education initiatives.  We seek creative, innovative educators who will contribute uniquely to the educational team at MCG.  Each faculty member will have a partial assignment to the Eii (Education Innovation Institute) and contribute to educational research, faculty development, or both.  Each educator will have some interdisciplinary education focus and will contribute to small group teaching.  The successful candidate will be expected to participate in all academic, scholarly, and service functions within the department and university.

Faculty member will report to the departmental chair.                  

Minimum Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (MD, PhD, Pharm D, or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in undergraduate medical education (UME) or other health sciences-related educational programs
  • Expertise and teaching experience in Pharmacology, Therapeutics, and related disciplines
