Job Information:

The Department of Kinesiology and Health Science, in the College of Education at Georgia Regents University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Exercise Physiology. The full-time tenure-track appointment begins in January 2016, and includes teaching undergraduate courses, graduate courses, and various advanced certificate programs. Advising and supervising practicum and internship student placements, engaging in scholarly activity and research, and providing service to the community and profession are expected.

The starting date for the position is January 4, 2016.

DEPARTMENT: The Department of Kinesiology and Health Science is one of three departments in the College of Education, whose programs are accredited by NCATE, the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Universities. Minimum Requirements


Minimum qualifications include an earned doctorate (by January 2016) in Exercise Physiology or closely related field. Applicants should have an established research agenda and the ability to seek external funding. It is preferred that applicants have certifications in their field through national organizations.  Salary is competitive, and commensurate with training, education, and experience.
